In a media drug case involving a Houston area high school teacher, David Michael Ryan teamed up with Dan Cogdell to defend a young man accused of being the supplier in a drug conspiracy and distribution case. All the others charged pleaded guilty, but Cogdell and Ryan took their case to trial. The government DISMISSED the case on the second day of trial, even though several FBI agents and the high school teacher had already testified.
